Choosing a camera can be quite a personal thing, after all it is only you who knows exactly what you are going to be doing with it. So only you know what you really need in terms of specifications, so this is something to consider if your are asking for one on your top Christmas Gifts 2012 list.

A good idea if you are going to ask for one for a present is to give a list of those you would like. By this I mean actually go through and choose one yourself, or give a list of those you might like, give a variety of price options too.

One of my favourite functions is the blink detection ability it has, I always blink when some one takes my picture. It is also easy to use to upload all your pictures to YouTube and Facebook too, really useful in today’s social sharing world.
