Capturing Wedding Memories With Wedding Photography

When planning out the details of a wedding, securing the services of a good wedding photographer is something that should not be overlooked. Years from the wedding date, the photos will allow you to vividly look back on the day and relive some of those happy emotions. Wedding photography helps to capture what might be one of the most important events in a couple’s life. The photographer does more than just take standard shots of the wedding party, including shots of just the bride and groom as well as group shots. In fact, wedding photographers capture candid moments and feelings of romance during the wedding and reception. Since the wedding day usually involves a ceremony and a reception, the wedding photographer should be booked for both of the day’s events. This enables the bride and groom to have photos of the ceremony as well as photos with friends and family after the ceremony and throughout the reception.

At some weddings, the photographers even bring the wedding guests into the fun and let them be the photographers. This is done by placing disposable cameras on each table for the reception. This gives the bride and groom some really unique wedding photos because they are shot from the perspective of the guests. It can really give the bride and groom an idea of how everyone else was celebrating their union since they can’t be everywhere at once during the reception.  Of course, the professionals continue to take wedding photos as well, which gives the bride and groom a nice mix of professional and amateur wedding photos.

Regardless of whether all the wedding photos are by the pros, or if your guests help out during the reception, you are certain to have plenty of photos to look back on. You can even enlist a family member or friend as a backup photographer to get twice as many memories captured.

Southern Food: Pork Chops and Apples

This recipe is for a great southern food combination – pork chops and apples. The apples give the pork a wonderful taste as they bake together, and the combination makes an attractive meal. For the best results, use tart apples.

Baked Pork Chops and Apples Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 center-cut pork chops, ½-inch thick
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • 4 tart baking apples
  • Brown sugar
  • Cinnamon
  • 4 pats butter

Directions: Rinse pork chops and pat dry. Combine cider vinegar, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to form a thin paste. Rub the past on the pork chops. Bake chops, covered with foil, at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.

While the pork is cooking, prepare the apples. Remove cores from apples, leaving about ½ inch of flesh at the bottom. Scrape out the seeds with a spoon. Fill the cores with brown sugar and sprinkle each with cinnamon. Place a pat of butter on top of each filled core.

When the pork chops have cooked for 20 minutes, remove them from the oven and arrange the stuffed apples around the chops. Bake, uncovered, for about 40 more minutes, until apples are tender and pork is cooked through.
